I could still remember Dara (or Sandara, as what Filipinos call her), talking about her dream of having a concert in Araneta just like her favorite singer Regine Velasquez.
Who would ever imagine that the famous Krung-krung will make it that big when she return to her homeland Korea. I thought back then, that her decision to return to Korea is a big mistake, since she was on the height of her stardom here in Philippines. No one even believe her when she came back and said that she is currently under workshops to make it to the entertainment industry in Korea. The next thing we knew, she and her group created a big buzz when they were launch in the Kpop industry.
What I like about her is she never forgets her Filipino fans. She even went on a secret vacation here last January and leave a message to her fans asking forgiveness why she didn't let the public knew about the trip. It was then that she promise to come back and bring her group here. An album was launched here in Philippines last January and it was ranked first, while their repackaged first album was next. Dara immediately thanked her fans, posting both in Korean and Tagalog.
2NE1 with Will.I.Am |
The are said to be preparing their launch in Japan when the earthquake took place, and the group are even in Japan during that time, they were not hurt but their management decided to bring them back to Korea for their safety. The launching was cancelled and as to when will it resume is still not known yet.
Details of the concert will be announced any time within this week. Following the high-tech and amazing Super Junior concert in Araneta is the 2NE1 concert, hmmm do I need to say more?
