Call of the Country ( Secret Agent Miss Oh)

There's nothing more better than watching a series when its completed! (and old hehe). I have been away from my blog for weeks already due to my work. But I never fail to treat myself from watching quality rom-com kdramas to relieve stress, it works for me and I bet, for all kdrama addicts as well. ^_^

Last night, I finally finished watching the funniest series I have ever watched. Call of the country, also known as Secret Agent Miss Oh is truly a nerve wrecking experience for me. This series is something worth watching. If you love watching action, comedy, and romantic stuff, then this is for you.

Call of the country is the story of a police woman named Oh Ha Na and the agents of  NIA lead by team leader Go. It all started on the day Ha Na proposed to her boyfriend but got dumped at the end of the day. Hurt and humiliated, she decided to get drunk inorder to forget what happened. That night, NIA agents were having an undercover at the same place where Ha Na is and on her way to the restroom, she incidentally saw Team Leader Go. Being a policewoman, she grabbed him after discovering that he is installing a hidden camera thinking he purposely do it to peek on the ladies in the washroom. Without  knowing that the person she's messing up is the dedicated Team Leader Go, an agent from NIA.

Because of that accident, Oh Ha Na was suspended from work and worst, she is in danger of facing charges from NIA for blowing up their undercover. Worst comes worst, she repeated the same mistake of blowing up another mission on a club when she went there in search of her mother.

NIA is facing a problem in their mission when one of the agent who is supposed to go on undercover as a secretary of a suspected drug trafficker, the son of a senator named Han Do Hoon. Hana was chosen for the undercover and was promised for a reinstatement on her duty once she cooperated and finished the job smoothly. She was offered the job  without knowing why she has to spy on Han Do Hoon.
 

The romance between Oh Ha Na and Go Jin Hyuk blossoms when they team up on their mission. Funny moments of the two were even made wackier when Han Do Hoon and Choi Eun Seo, ex-girlfriend of team leader Go and NIA agent and team leader, comes into the picture. The battle between the two women and two men are worth watching. The roller-coaster ride of emotion from action to sudden comical scene is a good treat.

The mission was never easy for Oh Hana and Go Jin Hyuk. Keeping their love intact between Han Do Hoon who confesses his love to her secretary Kim (Ha Na's undercover name) and Choi Eun Seo, who wanted to reunite with Go Jin Hyuk is amazing. Through this series, I began to like rom-coms that centers on adult love story, I began to discover that watching series with matured characters basically is more romantic and are more closer to reality than the teen's lovestory that were more restricted.

The mission ended when Oh Ha Na discovers the secret of Han Do Hoon. The connection of the present and what happened 3 years ago was revealed when she discovers the gun that Han Do Hoon possessed. The gun that Go Jin Hyuk lost uncovers the secrets of the  death of his mentor and sunbae and the sudden disappearance of his then girlfriend Choi Eun Seo. Han Do Hoon's remarkable love for his secretary Kim helped her and the team to get the respect that they deserve after NIA dissolved the team following their failed mission.

This drama never bore me down. I salute the PD and writers for a job well done. They got an A+ rating from me, and if I was watching them on stage, they could even get a standing ovation from me as well. I hate to realize that it ended already. I hope to see them again on another kdrama would do, with all of the characters present (including agent Na Joon Min, who I find cute, hehe and the funny trio oldies ).
